News Post Winter 2024

Vegies and Herbs, Nuts, Avocado, Citrus and Pome Fruits 
We’ve planted a wide variety of fruit and nut trees in four small orchards, including areas on the terraced slopes where we have started to ‘espalier’ about a dozen apple trees. As of 2024 we have around 400 trees in our permaculture-inspired “Food Forest”. This includes about 100 each of Citrus trees, Apples and Pears and Stone Fruit, as well as about ten each of Walnuts, Avocados and native Mountain Pepper, a couple of Chestnuts, a handful of Almonds amongst the stone fruit trees and about 30 Hazel Nuts. 

Value Added Products
We value add our grown-on-farm produce by making a range of Certified Organic and superbly delicious preserves for sale that use our produce as the key ingredient. The range includes a variety of delicious organic Citrus Marmalades, Fruit Jams, Sauces, Chutneys, Pickles and Preserves. 

Australian Food Awards

FOUR OF OUR PRESERVES HAVE BEEN AWARDED MEDALS AT THIS YEAR’S AUSTRALIAN FOOD AWARDS!

We won a Gold Medal for our Organic Wild Harvest Blackberry Jam, a Silver Medal for our Organic Peach & Ginger Chutney and two Bronze Medals, for our Organic Australian Lime Pickle and our Organic Tomato, Garlic & Chilli Sauce with Mountain Pepper.
